A V Robertson for Asos Black

Normally at this time of year I'm on the lookout for on trend fun pieces for London Fashion Week, luckily today I stumbled upon this unique collection for Asos Black by A V Roberston. A V or Amie is a Central St Martins alumna whose graduate collection caught the eye of the e-tailer's in-house design team at Graduate Fashion Week last year. Robertson is reported to be thrilled to collaborate with one of her favourite brands. I like that she creates bespoke collections instead of seasonal collections (why follow the crowd)?

Expect unique embellished tunics and dresses - there's a show stopping black funnel necked dress featuring red embellished blocks, and a suede-like sleeveless blush tunic with a contrasting purple panel. There are two skirts in the collection; I particularly love the asymmetric hem skirt with 3D embellishment on the purple panel (it really pops in contrast to the black suede). The aqua mini shift dress is also perfect for parties, with a deep V neckline and its mini flowers and plants scattered diagonally across it. And the best part - some of the collection has just gone into sale! I'm looking forward to wearing some pieces at London Fashion Week.
