Sponsored by Clarks and supported by Agent Provocateur, you’ll travel in time - starting thousands of years ago with gold leaf decorated sandals from ancient Egypt to contemporary designs pushing the boundaries of technology.
You’ll also marvel at startlingly high Chopines from Venice from 1600, ornate wedding toe-knob Padukas from 1800, and seventy year old beautifully embellished Roger Vivier heels for Christian Dior. Modern desirable soles include last year’s multi-coloured harlequin Manolo Blahniks, the covetable Louboutin ‘Pigalle’ pump and death defyingly high Zaha Hadid creations for United Nude. I can’t wait to see Caroline Groves’ Parakeet heels - they embody elegance but are probably impossible to walk in! Many shoes will be on display for the first time.
