I certainly pick my times. When I saw the dates for NE1's Newcastle Cocktail Week my heart sank. I'm on holiday this week. But the upside is that it I can catch the back end of it. Happy again. You'll be able to enjoy a (hopefully sunny) week in a cocktail bubble - sampling new creations and savouring your all time favourites.
With the return of the 3-5-7 offer (drinks are priced at £3, £5 or £7), you'll be able to frequent your usual haunts and also try out new venues which are creating world class drinks, such as Harry's Bar, dAtBar and Bonbar, all in the centre of town.
There's also a range of cocktail masterclasses to attend so you can bring your skills up to scratch for all of those summer parties. With classes at Mr Lynch, Nancy's Bordello, Madame Koo and Gusto to name but a few, aficionados are guaranteed the best cocktail training all over the city centre. The Cocktail Project are also offering masterclasses in their famous mobile Cocktail van and giving away 100 free daiquiris!
