New Karl Lagerfeld + Melissa collaboration - Plastic Fantastic!

I've been partial to this fab collaboration in the past (remember the ice cream cone heels, anyone)? Karl's somehow found time in his crazy schedule to design five new styles for Brazilian shoe powerhouse Melissa - a partnership that's been going on for some years now. Guess what - they all involve a little touch of KL (he's never a one to be modest)! Let's have a look:

Melissa Black Tie

My personal favourite from the new collection, Karl's signature black tie and white shirt are immortalised in this two coloured flat bootie with an open toe and back - also comes in four other colours - (white and grey, white and pink, black and white and cream and black). I'm going to pair these with my Lagerfeld LBD for cocktail parties!

Melissa Glove Love

Inspired by KL's signature leather gloves, I love the heel height and the round cut outs which all make for a shoe like no other!!! Originality is the order of the day here! I think I'm going after the black ones to wear with a graphic jumpsuit. (Six colours to choose from - black, red, blue, white, lime, and turquoise).

Melissa Ultragirl

Melissa have been doing the Ultragirl shoe for years, and here it gets a cool update with Karl's ever present black sunglasses - wear with a sense of humour! (Available in six colours - pink, yellow, black, turquoise, white and orange).

Melissa Ultragirl Heel

For girls that need a little bit more height - grab the Ultragirl Heel, with a convenient ankle strap and signature glasses. Available in six colours (coral, neon yellow, grey, black, white and blue).

Melissa Seduce
Even the World Cup hasn't been overlooked in Karl's new designs, he decided to put a mini football on each flat slipper. This shoe also comes in a version with a bow for those ladies really averse to football. (Colours available - gold, silver, grey, black and bronze).

Let me know which new design is your favourite or if you really aren't keen - the thing about Karl is he always creates controversy!!!!
